Well the back is still acting up but seems to be a bit better. Either that or the pills are helping today. I am really starting to get pissed off at someone who lives on the street behind me. I am not sure what house it is but every morning at 5:30 am they let their dog out to do his/her business. Then they let the damn dog bark for 5 minutes minimum to be let back inside. I am getting so pissed off They let the dog stay out barking later as it gets warmer. It must be a large dog because the bark is so loud and deep. I feel like opening the bedroom window and yelling at the dog to shut up. It is either that or I go on a scouting mission and find out where the mutt from hell lives. Then I will go up to their front door early in the morning and wake them up. Lets see how they like being woke up. I hate irresponsible pet owners.

I guess I will try and so some dishes before they topple over. It is really hard to do the smallest things when just s small move causes a hell of a spasm in the back.

I woke up this morning with a pain on the one side of my back that made it hard to move. I had the same thing yesterday but I took some Motrins and it got better. Today the Motrin did not work. The pain is along the bottom of my back from side to side. I never strained it or anything like that. I was fine when I went to bed but when I woke it killed.

Well I went to get gas and boy did I get a surprise. It was wet before and we had a temperature drop. I pulled into the drive of the gas station and did an almost complete 360. I never hit any thing, not even the snowbank. My first thought, lets do it again. I give a girl a ride every day after work to her boyfriends work, if she would have been in the car, I would still be prying her fingers out of the door handle. She is a very nervous passenger (not only in my car) and she hasn't had her own car for about 2 years now. Maybe that is a good thing.

I think I am going to take my magic bag (it is filled with some sort of beans and you microwave it) and go to bed and read for a while.

Well today is just a taking it easy day. It is actually a bit warmer out today. I am just finishing up the laundry and housework. I am getting a little antsy to start ripping the downstairs apart. I am going to do it the smart way. Measure first, price things and then start the big tear down. I am lucky that I can do some stuff myself and what I cannot use the net to figure out I can call on some guys that I trust. It is always good to have a contractor that you can trust not to rip you off and who do really good work. I figure I will start the measuring this week and getting some prices. To tell the truth I am really looking forward to the destruction part of the project. I love tearing things apart especially when I do not have to worry about saving things.

After asking some of the guys around work what to do to fix the tire I decided that I did not want to fuss with it and take it somewhere. One place I called does not do tires the other, well that was a strange one. I told the woman my problem and she said it could be fixed within two and a half days between bigger jobs. I told her that I could not get the tire off. Get this, she told me if I just brought the tire in it would be 2 and a half days, if I brought the whole snowblower in it would be 2 and a half WEEKS What the hell So I decided that I would have to fix the thing myself. I stopped at the store on the way home and got a small tube of grease, a rope (not sure where mine was) and some other stuff that I did not need but wanted. I got home and followed the steps like the guys told me. One said that my little air compressor that plugs into the lighter would not work, another said if I flattened the tire enough it would work. So I greased the areas where the guys said and wrapped the rope around the tire. I used my screwdriver to twist the rope and flattened the tire. The sides were almost touching the rim so I started to fill it using my compressor, it worked. I am happy to say that it took me 10 minutes and it is fixed The good thing is another storm is suppose to hit us on Sunday and Monday.

Well my nifty snowblower has a flat tire. I thought that when I got home I would take the sucker off, grab a tire patch kit, fix the tube and away I go. Wouldn't you know it, not so simple. First it is a tubeless tire and second it had lost the seal on the rim. No biggie I thought, just take the tire off and head to the nearest place and get them to fix it. I should have know better. I tried and tried to loosen the bolt that holds the wheel on but it refuses to budge. I swear they used crazy glue to fasten that sucker on I do not want to strip the bolt head so now I have to load the damn thing up in the back of the Tracker and take the whole thing to the repair place. When I take it in I am going to get them to loosen the other wheel bolt and let me tighten it myself. That way I will be able to take the other one off in case I need to in the future. The guy will probably be able to take the problem wheel off with no sweat and I will be standing there looking like an idiot. Oh well it isn't the first time and probably not the last.
