Well I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase a digital camera. I have to do some research because I am totally clueless about pixals etc. I hate it when the sales person looks at you like they see "sucker" written on your forehead. I can just see it, me asking questions and him thinking, boy I an really sell this person something over priced and she will never know.
At work today me and the girl I work with decided we have been working together too long. We get along great (better then some of the fights that happen in other areas) and actually enjoy each others personality and sense of fun. It has gotten to the point that today we were both thinking of a woman who retired a few months ago. We have the same ideas at times but the scary part was when she was cutting some postcards, some postcard pieces flew out of the machine, we looked at each other and made the EXACT same sound. It was so funny that we both burst out laughing. She is such a nice woman (10 years younger then me) who has very bad luck. If something can go wrong with her it goes wrong big time. She has to have her wisdom teeth pulled and she was worried. I told her that it isn't that bad. Well she got infection after infection, dry socket and canker sores in her mouth big time. I am a firm believer in Karma so I keep teasing her that in a previous life she must have been really really bad.
Well that is it for today. If anyone has and idea about cameras please help me with my research. I need to know what to look for, what features are good. I will just be using it for personal use and to get some pictures posted on my blog etc.

My best recommendation is the Kodak Easy Share camera...it's easy to learn how to use and it takes AWESOME pictures. It is a little bit pricey ($200 plus), but it's well worth the money. My sister is completely brain dead when it comes to using 'gadgets', but she learned how to use hers in one day!
Now, if you're not looking to spend that kind of money, you can find great cameras for a decent price. If you're just beginning & you're going to take pictures mainly for using in your blog, you don't have to go real fancy and you don't need a whole lot of "megapixels"....my digital camera is pretty old and is a 1.5 megapixel and it takes very good pictures....most cameras these days (even the cheaper ones) are at least 3-5 megapixels, so you'll definitely have pictures good enough for your blog & the internet with something like that!
Good luck! Let me know what kind you end up with!
There is tons of good info there for you..
